Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Donald Margulies surprises and delights in this wonderfully funny and moving tale of a Jewish novelist thrust into the limelight when his book becomes a bestseller and is about to be made into a Hollywood movie. But when his father’s health brings him back to the rowdy Brooklyn neighborhoods of his childhood, he’s forced to reconcile his past and discovers you can take the boy out of Brooklyn, but you can’t take the Brooklyn out of the boy.
