Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm (Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 5, 12), Thursdays at 7:30pm (Sept. 18, 26, Oct. 2, 9) "Pay What You Will" on 9/12
Our season starts with Moonlight & Magnolias, a hilarious Off-Broadway comedy about 1939 Hollywood. When movie mogul David O. Selznick shuts down production of his new epic Gone with the Wind because the screenplay just doesn’t work, he sends for screenwriter Ben Hecht and drags director Victor Fleming off the set of The Wizard of Oz. Then he locks them both in his office and—subsisting on nothing but bananas and peanuts—the three men labor for five days to save the picture. Just in time for the 70th anniversary of Gone with the Wind, it’s a hysterical farce about a legendary film that was almost never made!
