The hysterical one-man show Fully Committed won the Outer Critics Circle Award and was listed in Time Magazine’s Top 10 Plays of 2000. In the basement of Manhattan’s trendiest and hottest new restaurant, Sam answers the phone and takes the reservations. As the phone begins to ring off the hook, Sam has to juggle a variety of eccentric personalities: from mafia bosses, Wall Street tycoons, innocent tourists, rich old ladies and supermodels with exotic dietary needs to an irritable kitchen staff and an egomaniacal celebrity chef. It’s a frenetic 90-minute circus high-wire act featuring 40 characters and only one actor. Foodies, beware: You may recognize yourself...and still laugh!
