Y’all come and visit Tuna, Texas – the proudly third smallest town in the state. You’ll howl as you spend a day with the folks at radio station OKKK, the Greater Tuna Humane Society, the Smut-Snatchers of the New Order and a lot of various folks who inhabit what may be only a slightly exaggerated small town.
Greater Tuna appeared in an Off-Broadway production in 1989, and it and its two sister shows (A Tuna Christmas and Red, White and Tuna) have been kicking the manure from their boots on stages ever since.
Greater Tuna is one of a very few plays which has had a command performance at The White House. Guess who was President.
Director Linda Dunn is a native of a small Texas town, and is sure to make an evening with the Tuna folks one of the happiest and funniest of the season.
