Set in London, 2021, Joan Watson, an American in search of a new life, finds a formidable roommate in Sherlock (not Shirley) Holmes. Sherlock, eager for a new adventure, is trying the patience of her landlady, Mrs. Hudson, when Inspector Lestrade arrives at the door with a new case. The game’s afoot as Sherlock and Joan race to solve this case, which leads to the next, which leads to the next. This is the Conan-Doyle timeless partnership with Kate Hamill’s inspired, comedic, and theatrical spin.
